Taipei opened the first Infant Products Exchange Center on the third floor of Huashan Market near Shandao Temple Station MRT at No. 108, Sec.1, Zhongxiao East Rd. (map).

The exchange center is operated by the Health Growth Foundation and aims to help parents reduce child-rearing expenses and recycle items children have outgrown, such as toys and books. The center plans to accept items for children up to 6 years old.

The center will also have a family education exhibition area where visitors can learn about the value of recycled products through hands-on activities. Kids will be encouraged to refurbish donated toys with their own creativity.

The Infant Products Exchange Center is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 to 17:00. The public can register for services in person or online at http://www.tcprc.org.tw. For more information, call: (02)2391-5587.
