In an effort to attract more young readers, the Taipei International Book Exhibition, which will be held at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Halls 1 and 3 from February 11 to 18, will offer free admissions to visitors under the age of 18. This is the first year that the book fair has offered free admission. Young visitors who wish to gain free admission must present official documents to verify their age, such as a national ID card.

This year’s International Book Exhibition will feature 2013 Man Booker prize winner Eleanor Catton, author of The Luminaries, as well as a section for graphic novels.
