Along the north side of the Xindian River is a bicycle and pedestrian bridge that arches over Guting Riverside Park. The bridge between Guting and Gongguan provides beautiful views of the city on clear days, making it a worthwhile stop on a ride through the park on the way to or from Xindian. Cyclists can take this route to the Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park as well.
Taipei boast 112 km (69.5 mi) of riverside bike trails that take cyclists along the Tamsui, Keelung, and Xindian rivers. This doesn’t include that riverside bike paths in New Taipei, many of which are right across the river from those in Taipei.
The ride from Guting at the Nanchang Park YouBike station to Xindian is about 11.25 km (7 mi).
