Elvis Costello is set to play the National Concert Hall in Taipei at 8:00 pm on September 14. The 62-year-old singer-songwriter best known for “Pump it up” from his 1978 album This Year’s Model, will perform fan favorites from his more than 35-year music career on the evening before the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday begins.
Most recently, Elvis Costello published a memoir, Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink, in 2015. His latest album was a collaboration with The Roots called Wise Up Ghost in 2013. He claimed that the album would be the last he’d record.
Tickets to the concert are NT$1200-4200 and are available online or at the National Concert Hall box office (cash only at the box office).
